MyAccess Profile

Before you downoload AccessMedicine app on your mobile device, you must first create a MyAccess account:

1. Go to AccessMedicine through the Medical Library Search  (if you are off campus, you will be asked to log in using your OpenAthens account).
2. When you are in the AccessMedicine database, click on the down-arrow button right next to "St. Joseph's Medical Center on the upper right hand corner  and click again  “Sign in or Create a free My Access Profile".

3. Complete the registration form, create your username and password, and save.
4. Download AccessMedicine app on your mobile browser and login using your new personal login.

5. MyAccess profile enables users to access board review questions, study tools, case files and save the references they viewed. 

 

AccessMedicine App

The AccessMedicine app offers point of care solutions for clinical practice through these mobile features:

  • Quick Medical Dx & Rx: a collection of concise evidence-based outlines of conditions and disorders most often encountered in medical practice.
  • Fitzpatrick’s Color Atlas of Clinical Dermatology facilitates dermatologic diagnosis by providing color images of skin lesions, plus a summary outline of skin disorders and diseases. 
  • Differential Diagnosis Tool provides more than 1,000 diagnoses through Diagnosaurus®, a tool that efficiently allows you to browse by symptom, disease, or organ system at the point of care.
  • Diagnostic Tests: a quick reference guide to the selection and interpretation of commonly used diagnostic tests, including laboratory procedures in the clinical setting.
